Welcome to Target Translations & Interpretations, LLC ("TTI," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms & Conditions govern the language services we provide, including translation, interpretation, transcription, localization, and related services. By accepting an estimate, submitting a purchase order, requesting services, or otherwise engaging TTI, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
TTI provides professional language services, including but not limited to:
Services are performed by qualified professionals selected based on the project's language pair, subject matter, and requirements.
All estimates are based on the information available at the time they are issued. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, estimates remain valid until the expiration date specified in the estimate.
An estimate is deemed accepted upon any of the following:
Once accepted, these Terms & Conditions become part of the agreement between TTI and the Client.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
Invoices are due according to the payment terms indicated on the invoice.
Late payments may incur finance charges permitted by applicable law, and TTI reserves the right to suspend future services for overdue accounts.
Certain services or circumstances arising before, during, or after the provision of services may result in additional charges.
Additional charges may include, but are not limited to:
If additional charges are incurred after payment has been received, TTI will issue a supplemental invoice for the applicable amount. Payment of such invoice shall be due in accordance with the payment terms indicated therein.
Approved refunds will be issued using the original method of payment whenever possible. Credit card processing fees associated with the original transaction will be deducted from the refunded amount. Any non-recoverable third-party expenses incurred on behalf of the Client are non-refundable.
Translation is a professional linguistic service requiring the exercise of judgment, expertise, and subject-matter knowledge.
TTI strives to produce translations that are accurate, complete, and appropriate for the intended purpose. Certified translations certify the accuracy and completeness of the translation—not the authenticity, legality, or validity of the original document.
Unless otherwise agreed, translations are delivered electronically in PDF format.
Scheduled interpretation assignments reserve interpreter availability exclusively for the Client.
Interpreter assignments are made based on interpreter qualifications, availability, and scheduling requirements. Unless otherwise agreed, interpreter information is generally provided within forty-eight (48) business hours prior to the scheduled assignment.
TTI reserves the right to substitute an assigned interpreter with another equally qualified interpreter if necessary due to illness, emergency, scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances beyond TTI's reasonable control. Any substitute interpreter will meet the qualifications required for the assignment.
Unless otherwise specified in the estimate:
Estimated delivery dates are based on the information available when the project is accepted.
Delivery schedules may be affected by:
Whenever possible, TTI will notify the Client of any anticipated delay.
The Client agrees to:
TTI is not responsible for errors, omissions, or delays resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, illegible, or incorrect information or materials provided by the Client.
TTI stands behind the quality of its work.
If the Client believes a translation contains a linguistic error attributable to TTI, the Client must notify TTI within ten (10) business days following delivery.
Verified linguistic errors attributable to TTI will be corrected at no additional charge.
Requests for stylistic preferences, changes in terminology, modifications resulting from updated or corrected source materials, or revisions requested after final delivery that do not involve a verified error by TTI may be subject to additional charges.
Standard Projects
Translation work begins promptly upon project confirmation and receipt of payment. Due to the nature of these projects, cancellations are generally not possible once work has commenced. If a standard project is canceled after work has begun, the Client remains responsible for the full quoted amount.
Large-Volume Projects
For large-volume or multi-phase translation projects, the Client may request cancellation while the project is in progress. In such cases, the Client will be responsible for payment for all work completed, work in progress, and any non-recoverable costs incurred up to the time TTI receives written notice of cancellation.
Scheduled interpretation assignments reserve interpreter availability exclusively for the Client.
TTI treats all client information as confidential.
Documents, recordings, communications, and other project materials are used solely for the purpose of providing the requested services.
Our employees, interpreters, translators, and contractors are contractually bound by confidentiality obligations and applicable professional ethics.
Until full payment has been received, all deliverables remain the property of TTI.
Upon payment in full, the Client receives the right to use the deliverables for their intended purpose.
TTI retains ownership of its proprietary methodologies, glossaries, translation memories, quality assurance processes, training materials, templates, terminology databases, software, and other intellectual property developed independently of the Client's project.
TTI shall not be liable for delays or errors resulting from:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TTI's total liability arising from any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the specific services giving rise to that claim.
Under no circumstances shall TTI be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
TTI shall not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, internet or power outages, labor disputes, government actions, public emergencies, or failures of third-party platforms.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the services provided by TTI shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.
TTI may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version in effect on the date a project is accepted shall govern that project.
